Jelly Tots and Dolly Mixtures

The catering team is go! I did some promotion for a cupcake company called Jellytots and Dolly Mixtures, who are stocked in Selfridges, so I cheekily asked Louise who owns the company, if she would like to donate some cupcakes for our event in return for the catering team working in her shop.

The lovely Louise said that she would sort out the cakes and all we have to do is spread the word about her company. So we have 150 cupcakes confirmed for February. I also asked another one of our favourite cupcake companies, Bobby's Girl, if she would like to donate some cupcakes and she also agreed! But she agreed after Louise so I asked her if she would like to join in with Louise, but if not we would understand.

I also emailed someone I know at Exposure PR (who look after Martini, Tiger Beer, Vitamin Water, Coke etc...) to see if any of their drinks brands would like to donate some beverages for our event.

Event Management: Day One

Today we had our first Events Management session, the task is to organise and host an event to showcase our images from our first group project, which you can see here.

We pillaged everyone's contacts and it looks like we should be able to pull off quite a successful event using everyone's friends, family and contacts. Should be fun!
